Roger Nadrchal’s home is in Norfolk, Nebraska. He balances his time between family, friends and woodcarving events and as the CEO of NeighborWorks Northeast Nebraska.
Woodcarving first piqued Roger’s interest in the 80’s, but he spent the next few decades mastering other art forms. In 2011 Roger rediscovered his passion for woodcarving and in 2012 he attended his first Doane Experience; he has since been committed to mastering his art. For Roger woodcarving is the perfect culmination of design, painting, and craftsmanship. His body of work is set apart by his precise attention to detail and stylized use of texture and natural wood. Today, Roger takes pride in carving wildlife, caricatures, bark carvings, and his signature Santa’s. Roger’s artistic self-expression is easily recognized in each piece that he creates.
